Gallery Statement

My idea is to focus on a group of artists that create their art through the lens of their cameras. Photography has always been a passion of mine. The idea of capturing a moment in time that can never be replaced is so fascinating. Whether it is a photo of a person or a place, that instinct will never be the same again. Although there are many ways of creating photography, the photographers I have chosen direct their work on people in different mediums. Different reasoning behind each photo is what will separate these five artists from each other. I will look into these photographers as they have shown the most interest during this semester.
