Diane Arbus is known for her work in photographing the people of New York. Her interest in art came from the help of her husband, Allan Arbus, who helped her focus her skill of photography. She is known for her black-and-white style square photographs. The interesting people that she was drawn into photographing were the people who were outside of the norm. She also had her share in commercial photography in the late 40s.
